HOH - Hecklers on the Hill...The Hecklers on the Hill head into their fourth season as the official fan club of Santa Clara University Tennis. Composed primarily of students, the group debuted at the Degheri Tennis Center during the Broncos' 2004 season. A `Heckler' membership costs just $10 and provides fans with an official club t-shirt, complimentary food at select home men's and women's matches and the opportunity to passionately and positively heckle for the Broncos. Fans can pay for a membership using their flex card. The "hill", located adjacent to court three at the Degheri Tennis Center, serves as home base for the hecklers, as they witness tennis action from all courts, soak up the sun on warm days and enjoy plenty of food. Tasty barbecues grilled up by the club leaders have been a staple on the HOH menu, as well as delicious pizza and freshly-baked cookies. The Hecklers on the Hill are sponsored and supported by the men's and women's tennis programs, as well as a large group of faithful supporters who determine the matchday menus. Memberships during the club's inaugural year reached 200 hecklers and the popularity of the group continues to grow on campus. HOH provides a fun way for fans to participate in a sport traditionally known for its low-keyed cheering, as well as create a unique home-court advantage for the Bronco tennis programs.
